SCIENCE FOR HUMANITY
Science for Humanity is a UK-based charity that is building a network of scientists and technologists
in order to provide innovative solutions to the urgent problems brought to them by developing communities,
local NGOs, and international agencies.
Through their web-based platform, they function to provide a direct link between the scientific research
community and the developing world; an unique opportunity for researchers to test and showcase new ideas
and applications - and through these collective efforts - Science for Humanity seeks to render a sustainable
difference in the developing world.

THE COALITION ON THE
PUBLIC UNDERSTANDING OF SCIENCE (COPUS) NETWORK
The
Coalition on the Public Understanding of Science (COPUS)
Network is a grassroots effort whose goal is to
engage sectors of the public in science and to
increase broad, societal, understanding of the
nature of science and its value. A key
objective of COPUS is to create new forums for
communication and to develop new opportunities for
engaging the public with science.

THE 2010 USA SCIENCE &
ENGINEERING FESTIVAL
The USA
Science & Engineering Festival is the first national
science festival to be held in the United States,
and promises to be the ultimate multi-cultural,
multi-generational, and multi-disciplinary
celebration of science in the US. The
culmination of the festival will be a two-day Expo
held on the Washington D.C National Mall, which will
give over 500 science and engineering organizations
from all across the US the opportunity to present
themselves with a hands-on, fun science activity to
inspire the next generation of scientists and
engineers.
